MetalStitch® Cold Repair of Cast Iron

The MetalStitch® cold repair of cast iron process is a highly engineered system used to repair cracked or broken cast iron. Our process is very strong, does not involve heat, and has been recognized by many worldwide insurance companies as an acceptable and permanent repair. A proper MetalStitch® repair involves careful analysis of the failed component to determine cause and mode of failure. Layout of the repair to determine location of metal stitches and StitchScrews®, and selection of proper metallurgy of repair components is also required in order to determine the specific repair process, and to layout the repair sequence.

In-Place Machining Company is the sole US representative of the Metalock International Association based in London, England, and MetalStitch is a registered trademark of In-Place Machining Company.
