Our Commitment to our Employees and Communities – 2025 Milestones

Our Commitment in Action

At In-Place Machining Company and across our companies, our commitment to doing the right thing extends beyond the work we perform for our customers. It includes supporting the communities where we live and work, operating responsibly, and being mindful of our environmental footprint. Through employee-led giving, volunteerism, and partnerships with local organizations, our teams contribute time, resources, and effort to causes that strengthen communities, while reflecting our focus on safety, accountability, and responsible operations.

Community Giving: Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness and Research

Employee-led community involvement is an important part of how In-Place Machining Company puts its values into action. In October 2025, IPM employees participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Milwaukee’s Henry Maier Park, joining the broader community in support of the American Cancer Society and its mission to advance breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

In the weeks leading up to the event, employees organized internal fundraising efforts, including a bake sale and company T-shirt pre-sale. Through these combined efforts—and the generosity of employees, family members, and friends—the team raised $615.55 to support breast cancer initiatives. These contributions help fund life-saving research, patient services, and educational resources for individuals and families impacted by the disease. Together, these efforts reflect IPM’s belief that meaningful impact comes from collective action and shared purpose.

Community Service: Building Stronger Neighborhoods Through Volunteerism

In addition to philanthropic giving, IPM employees also give back through hands-on service. Employees from the company’s Milwaukee headquarters partnered with Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity to support a local home-building project, volunteering their time on an active job-site to help advance affordable homeownership in the Milwaukee area.

Through this partnership, IPM supports Habitat for Humanity’s mission to empower families and strengthen neighborhoods by expanding access to safe, affordable housing. Habitat’s model promotes long-term stability by engaging future homeowners in the building process and offering affordable mortgage options, while its block-by-block approach helps revitalize entire neighborhoods and foster safer, more resilient communities. This work aligns closely with IPM’s belief in investing not only in infrastructure and industry, but in people. We value the opportunity to contribute to these efforts and look forward to continued involvement in future community projects.

Responsible Operations: Supporting Renewable Energy Through Equipment Restoration

Building on its earlier investment in rebuilding the Poreba TCH 300 lathe, Western Machine Works continues to extend the value of that restoration through the work the machine performs today. Rather than purchasing new equipment, Western chose to restore and modernize the large-capacity lathe -preserving a critical industrial asset while significantly reducing material use and manufacturing waste.

That decision continues to pay forward. The refurbished lathe now plays an active role in repairing and rebuilding large shafts, hubs, and rotating assemblies used in hydroelectric and wind turbine systems. By extending the service life of these components, Western Machine Works helps customers maintain and upgrade renewable energy infrastructure while reducing the need for new material production. In this way, the lathe represents both responsible manufacturing in practice and a direct contribution to keeping clean energy systems operating efficiently and reliably.

Giving Back Through Local Partnerships in Baton Rouge

BR Machine team members also participated in the ExxonMobil BRPO Charity Golf Tournament in Baton Rouge, supporting both Capital Area United Way and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. This annual event brings together local businesses and community leaders to raise funds for organizations addressing food insecurity and essential social services across the region.

By supporting these organizations, BR Machine contributes to efforts that provide immediate assistance to individuals and families while also investing in long-term community stability. Events like this reflect the company’s belief that strong communities are built through collaboration, local engagement, and consistent support.

Supporting Cancer Research Through Community Engagement

BR Machine employees also supported cancer research and awareness efforts by participating in a charity golf event hosted by Air Liquide benefiting the American Cancer Society. In addition to fundraising, the event provided an opportunity for employees to connect with customers and peers while supporting a cause with broad and lasting impact.

Adding a local touch to the event, the BR Machine team earned the “Best Dish” award for a crowd-favorite boudin and shrimp quesadilla—bringing Louisiana flavor to a meaningful day of giving. While the recognition was a highlight, the true value of the event was the opportunity to contribute to research, education, and patient support programs that help individuals and families affected by cancer.

Across these activities, BR Machine’s involvement reflects a broader commitment to community engagement shared across the In-Place Machining Company organization. Whether through fundraising, volunteer participation, or partnerships with nonprofit organizations, BR Machine employees are proud to support initiatives that strengthen the communities where they live and work.

Together, these efforts reflect how our teams approach responsibility in practical, meaningful ways. By supporting local organizations, volunteering our time, and continuously improving how we operate, we aim to be good neighbors, responsible employers, and thoughtful stewards of the resources we use. This commitment is ongoing and driven by our people, and we look forward to continuing to support our communities and operate responsibly for years to come.
