Field Machining Services
Milling
Milling of motor pads, pump bases, pockets, tables, press beds/rams, worn edges, t-slots, and more. The possibilities of milling are endless; our machines come in various sizes to suit your machining needs. Nothing is too big or too small for us to handle.
Keyway Cutting
Key cutting on shafts from ¾” O.D. to most large diameter. Our key cutters are able to cut key ways from ¼” to 6” wide with the possibilities of larger application. We are also able to cut internal keyways in bores with the use of our milling machines.
Flange Facing, Pipe Dressing
Machining of flange gasket faces, seals, and weld preps. We can provide the finish required for the application ranging from serrated finish to a lapped finish. We have I.D mounted machines which will range from 5/8” I.D. to 60” I.D. Our O.D. mount machines will go up to 24”.
Shaft Turning, Machining
We are able to machine worn shafts down to either a required diameter, to an un-specified diameter and sleeve, or have shaft welded and machine back to its original diameter. This can be done on stationary or rotating shafts. For stationary equipment we can machine from 1.5” O.D. to 24” O.D. For rotating equipment we can go up to any diameter you require. Also, on some applications our machines will face from the center line to the O.D. and we can customize or machinery for larger O.D.’s.
Drilling, Reaming, Tapping
Our company carries a large selection of portable magnetic base drills ranging in size to meet your needs. We can drill, ream, tap and bore any size hole. Deep bore drilling is also available; we can go up to 4” diameter up to 8ft long. Larger applications may also be machined with the use of customized machinery.
Millwright Services
We also provide millwright services with respect to preventative maintenance, machinery repair, alignment, welding, re-building gearboxes/pumps and setting up new equipment.
